More Manhattan “Hot Spots” Get Fueled By Juice Energy This
Month
April 21, 2008 - New Yorkers looking to paint the
town red will soon be doing so in a much “greener” environment thanks to a new
partnership between Juice Energy and Corporate Event Management (CEM).
The clubs and restaurants served by CEM recently signed 3-year
agreements with Juice Energy that will cover all of their electrical needs. The new
agreement will allow these facilities to take advantage of Juice’s unique strategies
that can save substantial amounts of money over traditional utilities. In addition,
CEM will be purchasing 10% green power supplied by renewable energy sources such as
wind (note: they bought national wind RECs – no solar).
Juice Energy, operating out of New York, focuses on crafting unique
strategies that ensure their clients pay the absolute lowest possible rates for their
electricity. In addition, Juice works to make renewable energy accessible and
economically viable, thus helping clients manage their carbon emissions. As CEM
continues to expand with new locations throughout Manhattan, its identity as a
responsible, environmentally-friendly neighbor has become more important than
ever.
Corporate Event Management is a management group for several New
York bars, clubs and restaurants that provides centralized marketing and cost
reduction strategies. Juice will be supplying electricity to: The Village Pourhouse in
Union Square and the new Village Pourhouse Upper-West Side opening in May, Hudson
Terrace, Link, and the corporate offices of CEM.
“Our new partnership with Juice will help our member clubs and
restaurants manage the ever-increasing cost of electricity.” Said Michael Sinensky,
Vice President of Corporate Event Management, and owner of all participating venues.
“By grouping the purchasing power of all our venues, we were able to secure a much
better rate structure through Juice. Add in the access to renewable sources and Juice
clearly beats out our previous utility companies.”
Traditionally, small businesses did not have access to the strategies
and methods that Juice has made available. Brian Hayduk, Juice Co-Founder, said Juice
can help secure lower rates for clients of any size: “Our involvement with Corporate
Event Management will help them avoid the incredibly expensive contracts they were
stuck in before. Juice also offers CEM the ability to take advantage of significant
incentives offered to businesses to switch to a competitive supplier from the
utility.”
